The dental assistant plays a key role in supporting dentists and hygienists in providing quality oral health care to patients. This position involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting during dental procedures, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. The dental assistant will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing dental supplies.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, and professionalism is essential. Experience in a dental office and familiarity with dental software are preferred but not always required, as training may be provided for the right candidate.
